We approached this project with the goal of creating a wardrobe that would not only maximize storage but also serve as an elegant focal point in the bedroom. The final design was a three-door sliding wardrobe that utilized the full height of the room. The sliding doors were the ideal solution for this space, as they allowed us to design a wardrobe system that could extend vertically without requiring additional floor space for doors to swing open. This maximized the usability of the bedroom, ensuring that the wardrobe was both functional and space-efficient.
One of the most important elements of the design was ensuring that the wardrobe’s interior was highly functional, with a combination of hanging space, shelving, and drawers. The hanging rails were strategically placed to accommodate both long and short garments, offering ample storage for dresses, coats, shirts, and other clothing items. Above the hanging space, we included shelves that ran the full length of the wardrobe, providing plenty of room for folded clothes, shoes, and accessories.
To further enhance the storage options, we integrated scoop drawer fronts that added a distinctive touch of elegance to the wardrobe. The round, curved design of the drawer fronts provided a modern, sleek look while also ensuring that the drawers could be easily opened and closed. These scoop drawers allowed for convenient storage of smaller items like accessories, shoes, and folded clothing, providing an efficient system for organizing the client’s belongings.
The sliding doors themselves were one of the most striking aspects of the design. The doors were finished in pearl white glass mirror, which created a luminous, reflective surface that helped open up the room and make it feel more spacious. The mirror surface also added a touch of luxury to the wardrobe, enhancing the room’s overall aesthetic. The mirror finish on the doors reflected light, brightening the entire room, while also adding depth and dimension.
We completed the design with Evoke Champagne framing around the doors, which complemented the pearl white glass mirrors beautifully. The Evoke Champagne finish added a touch of warmth and sophistication to the wardrobe, making it feel both contemporary and timeless. This combination of materials and finishes created a wardrobe that was not only highly functional but also a true design statement.
Given the high ceilings, we made sure that every inch of the wardrobe was used efficiently, with the jumbo sheets cut to ensure that the wardrobe’s interior was seamlessly integrated into the space. The extra-high ceilings allowed us to create a wardrobe system that stretched from floor to ceiling, giving the client maximum storage capacity. The use of large sheets of material also contributed to the sleek, uninterrupted design of the wardrobe, with no visible seams or breaks.
In terms of construction, we used high-quality materials to ensure the wardrobe was durable and would stand the test of time. The sliding mechanism was chosen for its smooth operation, ensuring that the doors would glide open and closed with ease, even with the larger size. The interior shelves and drawers were built with precision, offering practical, organized storage without compromising on style. The overall effect was a wardrobe that was both functional and luxurious, enhancing the bedroom’s overall design.
